Our cellar yard is the finish line of one of the largest sporting events in the region, the annual Houwhoek Mountain Bike Tour.
As a cellar, we brought back to the region and community the original name the village was given in 1855, "Hermanuspietersfontein "
Bartho accepted into the Cape Winemakers Guild in recognition of his high standards of craftsmanship - the pinnacle of South African wine achievement.
